Wrong to Need You RECOMMENDED: Wrong to Need You by Alisha Rai is $3.99! This is the notorious cat pee book. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read Elyse’s review: I do not think I can possibly endorse Wrong to Need You more strongly than “it will make you forget you’re sitting in cat pee,” but if I could, I would, because this book is everything wonderful. It’s angsty and cathartic and sexy… Alisha Rai returns with the second novel in her sizzling Forbidden Hearts series! He wasn’t supposed to fall in love with his brother’s widow… Accused of a crime he didn’t commit, Jackson Kane fled his home, his name, and his family. Ten years later, he’s come back to town: older, wiser, richer, tougher—and still helpless to turn away the one woman he could never stop loving, even after she married his brother. Sadia Ahmed can’t deal with the feelings her mysterious former brother-in-law stirs, but she also can’t turn down his offer of help with the cafe she’s inherited. While he heats up her kitchen, she slowly discovers that the boy she adored has grown into a man she’s simply unable to resist. An affair is unthinkable, but…

Ed note: I (Sarah) strongly recommend you open this post in a new tab, then open all the links in subsequent tabs and savor each one individually. It’ll take awhile. It’ll be worth it- trust me. It took me over an hour to edit this, partially because I was making sure the links were accessible geographically, and partially because I was watching song after song. Repeatedly. I am now so high on Eurovision Endorphins I could float onstage and perform. This post is a complete flipping delight, so thank you to Catherine Heloise for this glorious assemblage of links and letters. And please note: some of the YouTube footage that’s available elsewhere in the world isn’t available in the US – so we tried to find comparable video options. Cheers! … Hi, my name is Catherine and I am a Eurovision tragic. Every year, I count the days until the Eurovision Song Contest. I hold viewing parties on each night of the semi-finals and final, with costumes and themed food and Ken-in-a-dress-cakes (why Ken-in-a-dress? Because pretty much every Eurovision contest I’ve seen has had at least one man in a dress or in full drag – not to be confused…

If you’re new to Hide Your Wallet, this is where we list new releases we’re pretty excited for in the coming month. Each reviewer has a book maximum (five per person), but we’ve separated HYW into two parts. The first HYW of the month will cover books that release from the 1st to the 14th. The second HYW will cover books released from the 15th to the end of the month. We also think this will help us feature books from smaller publishers who don’t have buy links up as quickly as the big five. As always, if we missed any books that you’re particularly looking forward to, tell us all about them in the comments.

Curious about being a publicist for romance? And how publicity is working during the Quarantimes? Today I’m chatting with Estelle Hallick, publicist at Forever. We talk about all the things, and I ask a lot of questions! We also talk about the Hachette walkout, which happened in early March and seems like a year ago. We don’t go into the specifics of the memoir, but look more at what internally led to the walkout, what happened afterward, and how acting together made a big difference. And then: reading recs. LOTS of ‘em! … Music: https://www.purple-planet.com Looking for a new show to enjoy? Check out My Imaginary Friends with L. Penelope.
