Midnight Obsession Midnight Obsession by Melinda Leigh is $1.99 at Amazon! This romantic suspense is the fourth book in the Midnight series. After reading some reviews, it looks like the hero and heroine’s relationship is already underway (?) and seems more like deepening romantic feelings in the face of danger. If I’m wrong, comment below! In Wall Street Journal bestselling author Melinda Leigh’s edgy new thriller, Louisa Hancock thought she was safe…but there’s a new killer in town. When a mysterious package lands on Louisa Hancock’s doorstep, the Philadelphia museum curator can hardly anticipate the nightmare that’s about to envelop her. The package is addressed to her father—an expert in Viking culture—and inside is a ninth-century sword, a chilling thank-you note, and photos of two dead bodies in a tableau evoking a Nordic funeral. The gruesome images match a recent crime scene. But before the police can investigate the killer’s connection to Louisa’s father, Ward Hancock vanishes. Sports bar owner Conor Sullivan wants nothing more than to spend his life with Louisa. Devoted and protective, he refuses to leave her side after her father’s disappearance. When a troubled young boxer he’s been coaching is suspected of the murders, Conor is pulled in even deeper. Desperate,…

B- Lush Money by Angelina Lopez October 14, 2019 · Carina Press Contemporary RomanceRomance All I needed to know is that this book had a billionaire heroine with a smattering of enemies-to-lovers. I began repeatedly stalking NetGalley offerings. I checked daily for weeks before the gods took pity on me. Baby plots aren’t my bag, but I was willing to overlook that for the sake of A FREAKING BILLIONAIRE HEROINE. And honestly, the pregnancy plot doesn’t rank high on my issues with this book. Both the hero and heroine were magnets for exhausting levels of drama and an assortment of garbage people, but that didn’t stop me from losing precious sleep finishing this book. Roxanne Medina wants a baby. After achieving vast financial success, she wants for nothing save a baby. Rather than going the route of an anonymous sperm donor, she wants to share custody; her child having a father is important to her given her own upbringing. Roxanne wants a man who is desperate enough to agree to fathering a child for money, while also possessing fantastic genes and the social standing to give their child everything he or she could want. Spanish prince and viticulturist Mateo Ferdinand…

Before we begin, I want to say a big thank you to Carole who has an entire folder on her computer dedicated to Cover Snark candidates. Thank you so much, Carole, for below snarkage offerings. Sarah: His pecs make for a very strange nose. Amanda: If you had to boop said pec nose, where would one boop? CarrieS: I’ve studied a lot of cryptids but I can’t ID whatever the fuck this is. Tara: Could there be two of them? I can’t think of anything else that might make sense. Catherine: If the torso is his nose it looks more like an elephant trunk than anything else. But that doesn’t go with the eyes. It’s a bit of a Rorschach blot of a cover, really… Lara: A lot might be wrong with this cover, but I’m stealing that slogan for my holiday packing: Honour. Pack. Survival! Carole: If I was running from that kind of fire, don’t think I would be pausing to give Come Hither Flirty Eye to Bystander Photographer. Sarah: He’s cleared second base, hasn’t he? Leaving the fire behind, headed for third. Such dedication. Elyse: I feel like a shirt is a requirement when fighting fires. Amanda:…
