This HaBO comes from Stephanie, who is searching for this historical: The heroine is part of a group of ship wreckers in the Outer Banks. She is in her early teens, but “belongs” to the leader. She secretly hates him, but her mom wants her to be with him cause it is good for her (mom). Someone survives from one of the ships and she falls in love with him and escapes the islands with him. Somehow somewhere on their travels they meet a sexy alpha whaler and he helps them with part of their journey. He secretly loves the heroine and thinks the survivor is not worthy of her huge spirit. Years later she ends up with the whaler and worries about her sordid past coming out among his high-kick friends. Well this is something.

The Chase The Chase by Elle Kennedy is 99c! This is the first book in the new adult Briar U contemporary romance series. This technically a spin-off of the Off-Campus series and features secondary characters getting their own HEAs, but you don’t have to read the previous series for this. Have you read this one? A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother. And that his best friend has a crush on me. And that I just moved in with them. Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates? I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a…

This HaBO is from Eleonora, who is looking for a previous Scribd read: A guy (half demon) who lived in a house on a hill with his son, falls in love with heroine. I think she could see auras or something. She gets pregnant and loses her memory, so her mom can’t find out that she’s pregnant or something like that. They visit the scary demon club where the guy was initiated in the demon stuff by his dad. That’s sort of all I can remember, I think there were 3 or 4 books in that series. I don’t remember a lot. I read it on Scribd but I got out of my subscription last year, so I can’t look it up anymore. Who can solve this one?

B+ Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir September 10, 2019 · Tor.com LGBTQIAScience Fiction/Fantasy Gideon the Ninth has been parsed into four words that gave me instant grabby hands: “Lesbian necromancers in space.” It was one of my most coveted books to try and snag at BEA, and I preordered it because my goth-loving heart was swayed by the black-stained edges of its first printing. All of this leads to a very tough situation: will a book I’ve been anticipating (and many others, too) will live up to its hype. The answer: sort of. Gideon Nav has been an indentured servant to the Ninth, the House of the Sewn Tongue, the Anchorite’s House, the House of Heretical Secrets, for the past eighteen years. She was discovered next to her dead mother when she was just a day old. And because the full title of the House is unwieldy, it’ll hereby be referred to as the Ninth or Ninth House. Gideon is now ready to blow this popsicle stand for a life of freedom. Unfortunately, Reverend Daughter of the Ninth House, Harrowhark Nonagesimus, has been onto her plan for the past week. If Gideon wants her freedom, she’ll need to help…
